This is great new for all you forum owners and webmasters looking to start a forum out there… RoboticRodeo.com released the first version of their RadiantBoard forum software which marks the beginning of a new era in the world of forum softwares.
The launch of RadiantBoard v1.0 can be considered as the start of the Forums 2.0 phenomenon! The use of AJAX features throughout the forum is pretty impressive and definitely the best in its class.
All the mainstream forum softwares’ interfaces today are based on pretty dated code with very limited use of AJAX and other latest technologies. RadiantBoard is set to change this with the use of unique features like QuickTechnologyâ„¢ which enables accessing all the features in the admin panel without the need for any page loads.
The same technology can be used to stick/unstick, lock/unlock, edit, move, delete threads and add polls to existing threads. QuickTechnologyâ„¢ includes QuickThread and QuickReply features which give a whole new definition to the way we post on forums.
More features unique to RadiantBoard include LiveUpdate, Usercards, Live Version Checking and many more. The Usercards feature is really exciting which can be achived on other forums only with the use of a 3rd party addons.

Another feature worth mentioning is the support for SEOed URLs. Just upload a few files and you are ready to go. This feature will be integrated into the default installation hopefully in the next major release (v1.5).
However the software is still in its infant stages and needs some fine tuning over the coming months for it to be able to give current forum softwares a run for their money!
Click here to view the fully functioning board or download RadiantBoard v1.0 and give it a try. I am sure you won’t be disappointed.

Radientboard is a horrible forum system. It is just bloated with unnecessary, badly coded javascript.
